OOTD #26: New York Is Always Hopeful.

December 3, 2018

I feel like everyone needs something of this print in their wardrobe. It's timeless. When I saw this coat I immediately started planning outfits for my New York trip around it. A general rule of thumb with me, if I can't wear it more than once, I have no business wearing it.

You can make this coat whatever you want. Dress it up, Dress it down, the options are endless.

Currently: trying to see how I can wear this with some thigh high boots to a birthday dinner in a few weeks.

Initially I wore this in NYC when I went to go see Aladdin on Broadway.

In terms of functionality, this jacket is honestly just for looks.  It's great for transition months where you can shed layers but definitiely not ideal for the dead of winter.

Bonus: it has real pockets! I never understood the concept of fake pockets.

This coat doesn't keep you warm at all but has enough room where you can layer it with a heavy sweater.

Just a little selfie action to get a better look at how I wear the coat on a daily basis.
I had a presentation at school and we were instructed to wear business casual.
Paired it with a grey turtle neck, black chinos and nude ballet flats.
